Clinical Supervision (One to One & Groups)

The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) define supervision as.

“Supervision is provided to ensure standards, enhance quality, advance learning, stimulate creativity, and support the sustainability and resilience of the work being undertaken." Supervision offers you a reflective space in which to develop practice and so benefits client safety”
I define Clinical Supervision as a contracted, professional relationship between myself and my supervisee(s). This space integrates psychological input from the therapist and the psychological mindedness of the client. Within this space I like to take into consideration - assessments , formulation, techniques for intervention and processing.

Additionally, incorporating theory and practice taking into consideration risk management both for the supervisees and the client.

My Approach

I practice using The Seven-Eyed supervision Model which is a process-oriented approach which integrates the relational and systemic aspects of supervision. It focuses on the relationships between client, therapist and supervisor, and takes into consideration the interplay between each relationship and their context within the wider system.

I work both with therapists that work with young people and Adults.

Clinical Supervision can be facilitated on a one to one basis or within a group setting.
