International Coaching Federation (ICF) define coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximise their personal and professional potential. The process of coaching often unlocks previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity and leadership. The process is goal focused.
Coaching is not to be confused with Therapy, many of my clients may start by engaging in Therapy with me and then we re- contract and the client engages in a Coaching Relationship . This is a useful process as individuals have worked through any historical traumas/issues that have been holding them back to progress.
I have a particular interest in helping leaders improve their management of heavy workloads, stress and imposter syndrome. I like to keep things simple, flexible, intuitive and brave, balancing challenge and support in the pursuit of achieving transformational outcomes. I work with the evidence based models including Transactional Analysis , Direct communication and positive psychology.
I combine my Coaching experience with my track record of working in senior leadership and business development roles using my first-hand understanding and experience to quickly build trust with executives, enabling them to unlock the new thinking, perspectives and awareness needed to enable them to succeed and thrive.
